A California native and have had the chance to climb at many wonderful places. I started climbing in 1996 and was climbing on and off until 2002 when I started to get more serious about it. I prefer trad but also see the benefits of being a more well rounded climber so I boulder and sport climb as well and enjoy it. I've followed some easy aid and want to try ice sometime. For me there are only two grades though, those I can do and those I can't. I'm just climbing to have fun. I climb at Rockreation in WLA during the week to try and stay in shape. Safety is a high priority with me and I'm also WFR certified.
