I just bummed out for like 2 years while changing careers. Want to go climbing again. Not sure where I'm at strength wise but technique used to be 5.7/8. Got a rope, got plenty of gear for top-rope anchors. a BD crash pad and a revolution crash pad.
Climb at gunks, peter's kill for toproping/bouldering, trapps for bouldering. Indoor at island rock in plainview, NY.
