I've been climbing for sixteen years. Started in Scotland in the wind, rain and mist climbing at places like the Ben and the Cairngorms. I now live and climb in Aotearoa / New Zealand in the wind, rain and mist. I'm a middle grade climber 5.8 / 5.9 doing mostly ice, rock (trad not sport unless I have to - which is hard in NZ) and mountaineering. I also climb in Australia (the Arapiles and the Grampians) where mostly it doesn't rain and there's no mist.
