Personal Profile

Occupation: PreSchool Teacher
Interests: started leading trad in May 2008 and can now lead up to 5.10. My interest lies primarily with cracks; hand cracks, fist cracks, roof cracks, and my most recent interest ... offwidths. I'll go sport climbing once and awhile, but prefer it to be steep and pumpy over slabby and thin. I own a full rack up to 4 with some doubles, a rope, and have done enough climbing that I should be relatively easy to communicate with. I lived in Boulder, CO May 2008-August 2009, but have since moved back home to MA. I work Monday-Thursday and prefer to make climbing trips a multiple day thing. As I'm going to be driving at least 2 hours regardless, I would rather have a partner for two/three days and camp out one/two nights. I'd love to spend more time at Rumney, Cathedral, Cannon, Farley, and the daks(!). Though I've never ice climbed and own no gear, I am interested since I'm going to need something to keep me busy throughout the Winter.
