I've only been climbing since 95. I started out sport climbing and that's all I did for the first 3 years. I was getting kinda bored with short routes so I decided to spend more time in the Big and Little Cottonwood canyons of Utah. I was hooked! I thought to myself,"Getting up off the ground is awsome, what do I need to do to get even higher". So I started piecing together a rack, and bought the "How to climb" books on "Big walls", and "More Anchors". Shortly after that I moved to Southern Utah, 30 min. from ZION. This place "Rocks". My first few years were spent focusing on aid climbing, but the last few I've found myself drifting more towards free climbing. I fill the time in between walls with Searching the desert for unclimbed Rocks to play on. I've got a handfull of desert FA's, and a 1000' winter prodject in Zion. We've got the first 300' fixed and are just waiting for the stars to align, rock to dry out, and work to slow down, so we can commit 3 days to the route.
