this is out dated by a few years now, but I'm not ganna cahnge it today! well it sure has been an active year for me.
I've spent 22 days in the Valley over the last 5 months, I figure I've done more than 15,000 feet of free climbing in Yosemite this year and an estimated 3,000 feet of local climbing. My hardest climb this year was a top rope ascent of Short Circuit (5.11d). My best lead has been on Lunatic Fringe (5.10c). The most sustained climb has been Ying Yang (5.10d), this route is the only place I've ever had my shoes squeak on granite. I am in the mode of trying to push my leading skills into the 10's, its amazing how a climb is so easy on top rope but when leading the same route it can be so much harder.
I am married to an awesome wife who allows me the freedom to go climb every week, and she has provided me with a wonderful son who is turning 4 this fall.
Things have slowed down for me over the last 3 or 4 months, my work schedule has changed leaving me to fight the crowds on the weekends.
Still trying to push the 10's but finding my self on easier climbs. Lost my main partner due to the schedule and the guy I mainly climb with does not lead and cant climb harder than 5.10.
I am always looking for experienced partners, drop me a line.
