I've been climbing 5th class inconsistently since the spring of 2004, but have been mountaineering longer. I did a Waddington Range mountaineering trip with NOLS in the summer of 2006. I have done most of my rock climbing in the Black Hills, both Spearfish Canyon and the southern hills (Rushmore, Needles...). If you live near me in St. Paul, are experienced and nice, and want to do a trip out there, I'd love to. My parents live out there, so we'd sleep for free! I am trapped in the flatlands but am enjoying the strength building and convenience benefits of Vertical Endeavors. I'm mostly interested in remote, alpine climbing. I have done most of my mountaineering in southern Montana. I haven't intentionally climbed much water ice, but I have the gear for basic mountaineering (some pro, crampons, ice AXES, only 1 single rope) and would love to practice with you.
