This is the only ice tool I have used but it seemed well balanced and stuck well with minimal swings. Works great for ice and alpine.

Good all-around tool, well balanced, you won't feel like your swinging a battle axe. Single pick/hammer or pick/adze head makes for quick changes. If your just getting into Ice/ Mixed climbing I think this is a good buy.
