Freino Autolocking Carabiner

Add an extra measure of safety and convenience to your braking system with the Petzl Freino locking biner-its gated spur enhances braking friction. Integrated wiregate spur on the spine improves braking friction when used with a Petzl Simple, Stop, ID, Grigri or Huit descenders. Simply run your rope through the spur to add additional braking power to your descent or when lowering a climbing partner. Keylock system uses a notchless nose on the carabiner frame and a slotted gate to create a strong, snag-free closure. Low-profile, metallic locking sleeve quickly snaps into locked position. Not for use with tube or slot-type belay devices such Petzl Reverso and Black Diamond ATC.
