VERY short battery life with this headlamp, but, you only use 2 AA batteries at a time. Not the best lamp going but works good as a backup.

Good for the price, well made. Battery runs out fairly quickly.
Light is relatively dim, adequate in a tent but a bit to dim to walk with comfortably. Definetlty too dim for climbing, also with the beam being relativel directional you end up having a dark spot at whatever grip you are looking at and bright light around the spot.

It's a nice headlamp, but it's quick to short out w/ any bumps to it. Good for a backup light or for the campsite, but I wouldn't rely on it alone in a cave.

Nice little headlamp, the adjustable beam is nice. Not sure how long the burn time is, but I've never had an issue with it. Puts off plenty of light, and is comfortable once it's on your dome.
