Solid cam

Great cam for the beginner. I bought them to beef up my 5 cam rack and have loved thier presence. They are tricky to place and walk a lot, but when funds are low, they are a life saver.

Great in some conditions, ok in others, not so hot in some. Sounds like every other cam, right? Um... not exactly. This cam is stupid cheap. A gunks-tie off and you're good to go, also called a hero loop or something. However, these pretty puppies walk, and especially the small sizes can get stuck pretty easy. Still, tempting to pick up more of these to bulk out the rack or for trips to Indian Creek. If $$$ is the main factor --> check out rock empire though

i dont want to rate these cams. they're good for what they're good for. if you want one set of cams, forget these things. more trouble than they're worth for a primary rack, IMHO. however, if you're looking to beef things up they're alright. sure are cheap and light, and they do work in *most* places. my biggest problems with them are the short stem (tricky for deep placements) and the slippery tiny thumb stud, which is finicky to get your hand on when you're gripped, compared to a friendly loop like the trango or BD cams.

These things are a hoss! they are small, light weight, and hold like a dream. I haven't had any more trouble with them walking than any other cam. One day i put one in the hole of a grainy, chossy Cinder-block and twirled it around like crazy. It didn't budge. Plus they make younger climber feel like a more hardcore Old-timer climber!
