Great tent, but not free standing
Review by: Tractoroperator, 2011-06-05
I've taken this tent out several times. It's fairly light, and sets up easily. It has stood up to severe wind, snow, hail and torrential rain. It shows a little bit of condensation, but I've found that most tents do. My major complaint is that it isn't free standing. I knew this when I bought it, but thought it was no big deal. After running into trouble trying to pitch it on rocky craggy ground and sandy beaches, I've decided that I really would prefer a freestanding tent.
.
Two vestibules provide ample space for two large packs, and boots. Two doors means no crawling over your partner to pee in the middle of the night. It's large enough to sit up in when changing clothes.
Overall a great tent for not much money!
