oh my gawd - how could anyone put this vid and verticle limit in the same sentence! this is the real thing! i saw it in a theater when first released. the place was packed with local climbers - could've heard a pin drop the whole time. a must see!

5 stars for sure! An awesome film on climbing, but better yet, and awesome film on human drama. The interview shots spliced into the action alone could have kept me watching for the just under 2 hour duration. The film is certainly cinema release worthy. I'm glad I have a home theatre because this film is breathtaking in it's cinematography. Get it!

I would highly recommend reading the book first. You can easily do it in one sitting and it makes the movie so much better because you know more of what is going on.

epic, one of the most amazing survivel stories in recorded human history. I'v read the book, and the movie follows well. This movie made me want to to alpine climbing so bad, Is something wrong with me?
