MMMMMM Tasty! 4 out of 5 stars

Review by: bucknasty, 2007-09-28

I've been climbing in these beasts for about a month now. Bought them a half size smaller than my street shoes, and they fit really well, except there's some dead space in the heel, but they hold well enough on heel hooks for me, and as mentioned before, the grip is sick! They stick to like everything and feel sexy. Oh, and I have some fat feet, just to let you know, so I guess these things fit wider feet well.

As mentioned above, these shoes rule! 5 out of 5 stars

I have been wearing 5.10 Anasazis for years now, and I decided to give this shoe a try as my most recent pair of outdoor shoes. I only use them for outdoor climbing because they are kind of expensive, and it would be a shame to waste Onyx rubber on plastic jibs.

I would say if you like Anasazis, then you will like these shoes. I honestly can't tell much difference between the two, I personally believe the C4 rubber is just as sticky as the Onyx rubber. Since I have been wearing Anasazis for so long, I will probably get a pair of those next time, I guess I just fear change! But if you want a high performance shoe with ultimate edging ability, then these shoes are well worth the money. I do not recommend these shoes for cracks, or easy routes however. This shoe is made for edging, the top is thin and it is painful to get a good foot cam in a crack.

The shoe for pretty much evertything! 5 out of 5 stars

I love my Galileos! It's the 3 pair I own! The Onyx rubber lasts longer than everything before. At least 500 pitches.
I used them on 20+ pitches alpine routes as well as on short and overhanging routes. go and buy a pair of them. You won't regret it....

Beautiful Shoe! 5 out of 5 stars

They fit my wide feet, the rubber is to die for, and they will take me anywhere I want to go on the wall! This shoe is somewhat painful at first, but after the (slight) streatching that they did do, they shaped to my foot amazingly. Not for those who want to walk around in them for 5 hours on end without taking them off here and there, and the heel is a bit wide, making it harder to heel-hook for those with smaller heels, but all and all it's a saving-grace on any wall!

Great shoe 5 out of 5 stars

I have fairly wide, but short feet, and these shoes fit great. I've had problems in the past finding shoes that will fit my feet decently, but these have been pretty good so far. I've been using them for the past few months and they've stretched a little in the sides, but I'm sending them in for a resole soon (the gym wall eats shoes) and will get them tightened up. Great for all day sport climbing, but they're of little use for trad, but that's what 5.10 pitons are for. Would definitely recommend them.
