Review 4 out of 5 stars

For the price, these are very good nuts. Of course, for the price, there are a few drawbacks: (1) color coding is done on the wire swage, not the nut (so its useless) and (2) they do slide up. However, I believe they are a great completement as a second set, esp. to BD nuts. They really fill out those medium to large nut placements (and combined with the brass nuts, they're amazing). Additionally, their shape (very boxy) makes them inferior for some placements, but excellent for others. A perfect second set ... use BD or DMM for your first set, but these will help fill it out.

The price on thes nuts was the best part, but I've used other brands that cost the same that I like better. As other reviewers have stated the heads on these nuts do slide. On my set all of them have this tendency, some more than others. The placements are OK, but not as good in my opinion as my other set of nuts (DMM Walnuts).

These nuts are great! For $35 you can't go wrong. They are color cordinated so they are pretty easy to identify. I would like it if the heads were anodized but for the price i really don't care. I use these nuts as my secondary nuts on my rack. I haven't had a problem with the nuts sliding (except for number 7 every now and then). They offer great protection are pretty easy to place and if you can't clean one who cares cause they are so cheap. Only complaint i would have is not anodized heads but since they are colored and number where the wires connect you can still identify them easily. Great nuts i would highly recommend buying them due to there price and just being a good basic nut.

These nuts are really cheap, but that does not mean they aren't good to have around. They have one big problem: the heads of these nuts LOVE to slide up the wire. It gets VERY annoying when you have to bite the nut and yank it back in place with your mouth... I figured out that I could get them to stay by pulling the wires apart slightly at the base of the nut to get it to kindof stick in place. Overall, I would not recomemd them for your primary rack, but if you are going to be doing some climbing where you know you will need to leave gear, these are the way to go due to their cheapness. Don't get me wrong, when the nuts are in their rightful place on the end of the wire, they are very bomber pieces of pro, and place quite well.
