Heavy, weak, hard to clip, INDESPENSABLE! I have 3 and use them for just about everything. I don't know what I would do without them. They are great for clipping in a belayer. Well made, seems to be about average cost for an oval biner.

whoa mother i love the ovals. This is the kind of climbing equipment you just want to gather and the kind of gear your dream about having a couple hundred of the things. These are biners that you just need more of. The feel of them. The aesthetics. Everything about them is spledid. Great for anchor building, racking, clipping essentials. DAMMIT!

I own four, for racking nuts on. They don't clip well, they get caught on the gear sling too much and they're heavy. But they get the job done and they're nice for aid. Can't recommend them beyond that.
