Review 5 out of 5 stars

Crocs are an impermeable barrier to the elements. These gaiters are worth the extra money. For me, they have been 100% successful at keeping out snow, water, mud, and wet elk doo. Word to the wise--if you are ever going to wash them, make sure you fasten the Velcro together (close the gaiter). Otherwise, the hooks on the hook-and-loop closure will wreak havoc on the Nylon cinch strap.

If your into hiking in the rainy or muddy seasons, these things for you. I have used these when I've gone hiking, always feels great to have dry socks during a rain storm. GoreTex products won't let you down. Even though the price is a little high, it is worth the investment.

these things are excellent...gore-tex = waterproof
not to mention that they are practically bombproof - these were/are my first pair of gaiters - dont see any sign of that changing anytime soon...these have a solid construction and quality - well worth the $$

recommend for anyone who likes to go to places most people wouldnt think of going...and staying dry while doing it.

I use Crocs in all four seasons. They are, hands down, the best gaiters I have ever used. The front closures are very convenient, the fabric is super-tough (no problems with crampon points) and they look like they will last forever. I've been in river crossings almost up to the top of the Crocs. Very little water forced its way into my boots. If I ever manage to wear these things out, I'll be buying another pair.
