These are terrific (if they fit the shape of your foot, and if you don't climb in conditions below about 5-10 degrees F). They weigh about as much as my sneakers, lock my heel down like a slingshot rand, and have amazing ankle flexibility. They make my old Salomons, which were new-school leather, feel like cement loafers. Terrific boots! (if they fit your feet)
