Review 4 out of 5 stars

This is a super easy way to have more control over the daisy part of your aid system. Admitedly, they're nice for other things, but only being rated at 300 Lbs. (what's up with that?) I wouldn't want it to be a major part of my belay system.
My biggest complain was that with all the extra webbing between the locking buckle and the carabiner, I had a hard time tightening the thing down as far as I wanted it. Fully tightned, I could get about 5 inches from the top of my aider. Not cool.
So, I'm guessing I'll be using a fifi again for the spots when I've gotta get my crotch really really close to the gear. Aside from that, I did really enjoy how easy they were to adjust. only one handed, and works either way.

If you have to do any traversing, esp. cleaning traverses, you will curse the name of metolius. That being said, they're great ... one handed operation and all. The problem is that they're puny -- only rated at 300 lbs. Would recommend another adjustable daisy, such as yates.

Once you learn how to manipulate them, they're great. I can see where people feel cl*&%^Fd with them. I'm comfortable with the double D arrangement.

I have found the Metolius Easy Daisey to be a superb daisey to use particularly for aid climbing. As the blurb states it definitely speeds up the process. I love the one handed adjustment. This gear has got to be the laziest way of getting yourself up aid pitches as you can virtually haul your lard butt up on its inbuilt haul system. The one drawback that I have found is that it cannot be released with weight on it so what that means is that one has to get ones weight off the daisey to release it and then one can let slack into the system. No biggy really but sometimes one would like to ease oneself down a little without haveing to stuff about.Great piece of kit all the same and I would recommend it highly.
