Got mine cheap, really like the waterproof feature. With the internal straps done up and the roll-top closure, no amount of rain will get in this bag! I put a garden hose on it in the yard for an hour. Haul system is what it should be, simple, removable and encourages you to get climbing asap.

The internal pocket is nice, as is the internal gear loops and offset haul points. I like the size, never carry it full, but it is nice to bivy under on walls with rockfall!

I can only compare it to a fish simple bag about the same size, and I would say that the haul system works a little better, the waist belt doesn't slide around as much, and I like the top closure better, a cinch top won't be as waterproof as the roll top. But if you live in California who needs waterproof!

Pretty good overall, good idea for the design, however when jugging sometimes if you don't pull straight down or back on the handles, the cam won't engage and you will slide down the rope a couple inches before engaging, which can scary at first until you figure out what is going on. I can reproduce the slipping now when I want, something I couldn't do with my Petzl's. Otherwise they are great, you get a finger and a thumb in on the trigger action, and they have that bigger hole in the handle if that makes you happy. Have only used on aid walls, no dirty ice/mud alpine stuff yet.
