well, they're heavy, hard to clip and not very strong. Plus the inescapable tendency to rotate.
In short there are better options out there for the non aid climber. I am personally replacing my ovals with Dovals with the exception of a few to use for Toprope anchors.

Pros:
some gate-tightness issues that are easily resolved with graphite-lube.

These are a pretty good pair of shoes as far as performance is concerned. They smear incredibly well, but they have to be sized tight (down 2 sizes from your street size) to be any good at edging.
Sized a bit looser, they're awesome crack shoes and all-day comfotable, plus they last a bit longer.
My main gripe with these shoes is that they don't last very long. The soles are so thin that mine are in need of a resole after 6 months of climbing, and I sized mine loose (I got my street size). I know other folks that needed resoles after a little over 1 month when sized tight.
In short: They're great crack/all day shoes if you get them loose. If you size them tight for optimal performance, they work great while they last...which isn't long at all. There are better shoes for this purpose
