I bought the whole set when I first started trad climbing three years ago. They are much more versatile than hexes. I absolutly love then except for 2 drawbacks: 1) they can sometimes be extremely hard to get back out, once placed well, and, 2) the bigger sizes sound like cowbells.

For the money, they simply can't be beat. Spend the extra couple hundred bucks saved on gas for the next couple road trips.
