Love this biner. With practice, I can open and close it pretty well with one hand. When my hand is sweaty, or I'm pumped, or its upside-down in a master-point,...etc... its not so straingt-forward. Maybe with practice it'd work well in these situations too. Sticking w/ my biners that don't require practice.

Great shoe, sticky rubber, comfortable even though i fit them tight, precise, and... oh, yeah... after 2 months of use a huge chunk came loose from the sole. Make sure you buy them somewhere that's got a good return policy.

I love it!

The smoothnes of an ATC-XP (a little smoother maybe?) with the ability to belay a second. At first I was concerned that the metal attachment loop would interfear w/ raps, but that concern seems unfounded. Love it!

Always loved the autolocking feature of my reverso, but prefered my xp to it because of smoothness of use, and ability to catch falls. This has replaced both for me.

excellent book, much greater detail than its Falcon counterpart, but not neccesarily an exhaustive listing of the area's climbing. The two compliment each other nicely, though for the spots covered in this guide, the #of climbs listed, and the detail goes far and beyond what the falcon guide offers.

Really good book. The only one I'm aware of for Smith.

Until the update comes, check with the local Smith climbing shop about the added pages. Spring of 05, you could go to the hadware store in town and pay for photocopies of the updated info. Really helps the book out a lot.
