Great shoe 5 out of 5 stars

The shoe wonīt get bigger with time, so donīt buy it extra small. Rubber is a bit slippery, but very hard, great for slabs. I resoled with vibram rubber, they are now a great shoe, just donīt wear it for overhangs, thatīs not what this shoe is for.

not my type of shoe 3 out of 5 stars

The shoe has some very cool features, the toe-hooking and heel-hooking are great, hence, they make up for overhangs pretty good, the form of the shoe, however, suggests its for vertical climbs... I bought these shoes and use them only when Iīm on cracks or overhangs, but anything else, I use either my southwests or my kaos. Thatīs because the toe-hook thingy doesnīt let me tuck my feet correctly... gonna try to cut it a little bit, kind of like the original loco shoes.

I tried it once, very nicely padded, very comfortable, wore it for a tyrolean at school (yeah, we do that at school) and it felt great.

I was used to the BD Momentum harness, but when i bought this one, my climbing level "climbed", itīs almost as if it werenīt there, very light, very confortable. Has got a velcro for buckleing assistance. Only cons, gear loops are not stiff and no haul loop,

I have to disagree with geckoee, it IS a good belay device, kinda auto-locking, too, just donīt trust it for autolocking, and for rappel, you can use it backwards, so it wonīt lock up.
