Good harness for sport climbing and trad cragging. I have a M and it does not have range in the waist or thigh to accomodate winter clothing, so I need another harness for ice. While it is well padded, it hasn't been the most comfortable on grade III+ climbs that involve hanging or semi-hanging belays. I am currently looking for a more padded harness for day-long climbs.

Oh so sweet. Just took delivery of a set of ten to replace the mixed and matched set of notched-gate draws that I've been climbing with since I started. The 20cm length looks nice and long for trad. Can't wait to get out there and use 'em this weekend!

I almost always carry #4 - #10 despite the noise. It allows me to use these babies at anchors or when I have a solid stance and save my cams for when plugging gear in quickly and moving on is important. Plus for a beginner trad leader who may be scared of falling on active gear, these things are rock solid when well set. I have the wired and have no problems with them.

A #3 saved my butt on my first trad lead fall and I am a convert. They can be tough to clean if you're aiding on them or have fallen on them but they sure do set well. I like the color coding as I have 1.5 sets racked on 2 oval biners and can grab the right one right away by looking at the colors (kind of like the colored dyneema slings on my Friends).

Great for wide feet. The unlined leather stretches to fit like a glove. I also have a pair of Cobras and I find them more sensitive when smearing and better when edging but the Mythos are the shoes that I wear for all-day multi-pitch trad routes. Excellent for crack climbing as the forefoot sits flat. Lacing also allows you to crank them down when needed for precision.
