Good stuff: First of all, I freakin' love these shoes. I was a little weary of them in the beginning 'cause they just look like your standard climbing shoes. Wrong. Dead wrong. The onyx rubber will stick to anything you can find and even stuff that's not even there, it's great. There's nothing better (that I've tried) to climb hard slab or vertical with. The velcro straps provide easy on/off for choppy bouldering sessions. There's nothing better to edge with. These things eat jibs for breakfast.

Sizing: I wear a 8 1/2-9 street shoe (US) and I sized these down 1/2 size. I've never had a shoe fit me more perfectly. They will hurt for the first 2 months or so depending on how much you climb but after that, they stretch just enough ease the pain. Either I cut my toenails or my Galileos will do it for me. TIGHT.

Downsides: The toe and the arch is still a little loose but it's okay; I've never been able to heel hook them off. They're not that great for toe hooking...at all. The toe only has a small section of rubber up at the top and the next best option is to hook with the velcro straps. If you're a climber that loves to toe hook, go with the La Sportiva Baracuddas (their toe is magic).

I wear a size 9 street shoe and accidentally got them too big when I ordered a size 42 (size 8 1/2 US). I've gone bouldering, indoor and sport climbing in them and work wonders in all three areas. I can wear them all day without having to take them off AND keep the sensitivity I need to step on tiny jibs. The web rubber is amazing for toe-hooking on roofs...or anything for that matter. The vibram rubber isn't as sticky as C4 but it lasts way, way longer. My only complaint about it is that the heel is too wide. I think that can be easily fixed though if you size down a size or two from your normal street shoe.

These were my first pair of climbing shoes. The rubber is SUPER sticky on them but the edge on and around the toe quickly disappears with regular use. I would reccomend sizing them down quite a bit, especially if you're going to be doing any kinda of hard heel hooking. If they aren't tight enough they will pop off. They turn your feet pink because of the excess dye they have in them...? It washes off so no harm, no foul. I'd say an overall great shoe for indoor use, bouldering and mild sport.
