Even the small holds are pretty bomber. I like the soft texture. It's very comfortable to hold compared to other brands I've pulled on. Most of the holds are pretty juggy, but the small ones seem to be made for a smaller hand. You can't quite get four fingers in there comfortable.
My only concern is that even though the hold sticks out of the wall pretty far the bolt is reassessed pretty deep. This makes it look like they may break.

I think it would make more sense to organize the categories by type of shoe (gym, technical, big wall, slipper, lace up etc..) most people know what they are using the shoe for and are looking for a brand that fits there needs.

Get rid of branding categories!

:-) That’s my big political speech

This rope gets the job done. It is very dynamic. When you take a fall it's really boing! soft. The down side of this is that you fall much further, which could mean ground potential. I was using it for top rope today, and I pulled about 10 feet of stretch out of the rope before lowering someone from a 40 foot climb! Hopefully After breaking it in (lots of raps and TR's to get that extra bounce out) it will be good for lead.

By far my favorite belay device. It is lightweight, easy to use and set up, doesn't lock up on you, and offers a good amount of friction when you lock off.

This A.T.C., not to be confused with Black Diamonds ATC, locks up on a fall, and has to be manually unlocked after the climber gets back on the rock. On a plus side, It has a nice quick catch that takes almost no strength to hold. I wonder if Nelson’s ATC also stands for “Air Traffic Control?”

However, two major draw backs as I see them are:
1. You have to taking your guide hand off the rope every time it locks up.
2. The locking action makes for a terrible repel device. Slip-Snag-Slip-Snag all the way down. I went back to my figure eight for repels.

Summary: spend the money and get a real ATC, not this cheep imitation.
