A differnt kind of movie 2 out of 5 stars

This DVD is NOT about pulling hard, it is about insight to the worlds best climbers thoughts and ideas on bouldering. There are no good camera angles in this film, all the problems are zoomed way out on. The problems themselves look awesome, but you cannot fully understand just how difficult some of the stuff is just by watching the footage. It seemed like most of the probelms were filmed 100 yds away! It is a good movie if you are looking for interviews. But do not watch to get psyched.

"Sharma's new favorite shoe"-Five Ten.
Great shoe! These things edge amazingly. I did just get them, so i dont know quite how they will hold up yet. They are suprisingly comfortable. The only complaints i have is that the heel isnt "great" for heel hooks, but still descent. And they fit a little loose up on top of the foot. Order a size to 1 1/2 sizes small. I WILL CLIMB 5.15 now....

I am not one to rush out and buy every climbing DVD that comes out, but Colorado Day Dream sparked my interest. I am going to Colorado this summer, and I thought it would be a great video to get me motivated, right I was!! This video has the top of the line editing in the world. Unlike many other climbing films, this film concentrates on over 30 prolems, each getting its each own individual attention. This video is one to get you pumped up to go climb.
This film, in my opinion was made to get you sicked to go boulder. It is not like Rampage, where you watch Sharma do some ungodly moves on some blank wall. These are the average (very high average) guys, and gals that live in Colorado, and just love to climb. It make you think "yeah, I could do that", rather than, "Whoa, I WISH I was that good". This film has great soundtrack also. True there may be a little techno in there, but they mixed it up W/ some Jazz, rock, and rap. The group of climbers also throw down hard problems including a V13/14, which Sharma does NOT due in Rampage. If you want to get sicked to go climb, get this video. It's nice to see the average Joe crank hard, just like me and you

I have had this gps for some time now, LOVEIT!. It isnt too much, but its not to little. Its very rugged, with stands rain torms easily. It comes with all the features including a back light, base map of North America, 8 MB of storage for more detailed maps that include the nearest WAL MART!! I will take it with me this summer to colorado where i will be living out of a van. I will definetly be marking routes, do i know how to get back to them. It has a claendar, tells you when the fish are biting, area calc. (tells you how many acres you have incompased, and more! This is the gps to get. And for the price of around 200-250 bucks, cant beat it. Have any questions about this product, PM me!
