If you get the wide mouth make sure you get the siping insert (not sure of the technical name). The wide mouths are easy to refill.

Being my first pair of shoes I don't have a lot to compare them to. Climbing in the gym once a week for the last year has worn a hole between the sole and the leather. The fins are great for heel hooks. When I bought them my toes didn't curl in side, they have streched a bit since then.

It has good gear loops. the padding is good. The straps for the leg loops tend to walk themselves loose. Not to mention the price is great. I actually got mine as part of a package. It cam with an ATC chalk bag one locking carabinner all for 85$.
