Older one was better. . . 4 out of 5 stars

I loved the olg Mugen. I also really like the Flash (so long as I but it way small and break it in). As for the new model, it's pretty stiff. I find it a little harder to tuck my toe into a pocket while high-stepping and really trust it.

Having said that, it's still a really good shoe.

I'm not impressed with this hold. It is very difficult on steep terrain and lacks a variety of grip positions. Well made hold, but not the most useful.

Another great hold. There are myriad pinch variations on this hold and it isn't that juggy. Again, this hold works well on a very steep (45 degree to roof) wall.

While it is designed as a crack, placing both edges on a steep (45 degree) wall makes for very enjoyable yet difficult climbing.
