I purchased these several years ago and and was astonished then first time out how I could stand on Dime edges.

I wasn't sure what i thought of having a velcro strapped shoe rather than laces. However I really love these shoes for short technical route climbing as I can get out of them easily @ belay stations so my dogs can rest a bit. I really love using these during bouldering sessions.

They are well worth the money spent. Keep up the great work Sportiva

Hotwire should be a main stay for any rack 5 out of 5 stars

For BD Biners this is a great biner, capable of handling anything from my fat fingers & larger paws stress'n to clip pro. Besider I love wiregates & have pretty much given away all of my other gates.
Prices are fair or at least they were when I purchased mine. Highly recommend to any one wanting to build a rack without selling one's soul completely to the gear whore god.

Get a pair. These are the best and most comfortable shoes I've owned. When the tread is new they grip like no ones buis-ness!! I've now had my pair for going on 2-1/2 years. They are now pretty much slick on the bottoms but fit my foot like a glove.

I've climbed relative easy climbs up to 5.7 out @ red rock. I love the comfort I have while hauling my gear out to a climb.

I wear the hell out of them also around town as they are comfortable and sport a style different from the norm.

I've had several people comment on the style and want to know what and where to get them, who don't have a clue about what rock climbing is all about.

With this said, I've now owned three pairs of these shoes. The second pair delaminated at the toes like previously mentioned by others. I spoke with 5.10 and they without hesitation replaced them.
While I love the stickiness of the rubber soles, they are known to leave marks on flooring and wear smooth within a year or so for me. I also see that the padding in the heel area wears out fairly quickly. And while I really like these shoes I am now beginning to look to replace them with a more durable shoe.

I have to admit that I was skeptical when I first purchased them, however I must say after climbing in them and taking a hard skiding fall.

I expected to find holes insted of just scuff marks. Even a year latter and alot of wear I still don't have holes in the knees.

They have become my favorite pants. And now own a couple pairs.

Unfortunately, Prana doesn't make sizing fit us big guys very well so I end up wearing XL. Just wish they would would make clothing that fit us normal size guys.

Great pad. I personally like the fact that it is big. It also has been known now to have served as an extra spot for guest in the house to sleep.

It has really helped limit my climbing crash and burn abilites, and has been very durable wear wise.
