An excellent inexpensive pad. I was looking for a second smaller pad for when my Misty Magnum is too much to carry around. It complements my Highlander as a wonderful second small pad. It is excellently constructed and it's a breeze to carry. The only drawback is that since it's a hinged pad I can't stuff as much into it as my taco folding pads. If you are looking for a inexpensive pad or a "cheap" first/beginner pad, grab this one.

Great price, excellent turn around time. My Rage's climb like a brand spanking new pair of shoes except that they already broken in. All my shoes are going to Yosemite Bum for resoles when they need them from here out.

Since I've finally gotten a chance to take them out on something I can give a little review. First off they are way tight. I wear 9.5 street shoe and I got them in 10.0 and I still feel like they are a bit snug. No worries on that as you just take them off after every route/problem. They excel on steeply overhanging problems, like 30+ degree overhanging, and especially on overhanging pockets. If you try these on anything slab to vertical you will be hurting, as they are not designed for this type of climbing. Overall great value but not the perfect steep route shoe. Once you wear out the DDS soles get them resoled with Steath C4 or Trax XT5 and they should be fine.

After finally putting them through their paces this is one wonderful approach shoe. I've practically given up wearing my hiking boots in favor of them. Wonderfully comfortable on a fairly long and steep hike in and suprizingly agile on crossing shallow streams (>2").
