Smooth, really smooth.

Big, really big.

Protects the rope well and holds the prussiks nicely.

For my needs, this rope is "it". Everyone I work with uses this rope, it's an accepted standard in entertainment rigging. Very tough sheath, puts up with a lot of abuse before it starts to go fuzzy.

One downside; it's not as flexible (hence knotable) as other static ropes such as those from Edelweiss but probably makes up for it in abrasion resistance.

Comes in black as "Assault Line". The ideal rope for that grappling hook you've been dying to use!

what can you say? It works, it's fairly light, it's enormously strong, it makes a really cool clangy sound on your rack and it's pretty darn cute too boot!

is there a better munter hitch krab out there?!

Perhaps a little large for my hands, but I have no problem with the ball mechanisim itself.

Call me strange, but this is one sexy krab...

Like they say, designed for hauling systems where it's important to have symmetry - ie; for fixed sided pulleys.

Also, essential for creating a non-return pulley system with the Petzl Fixe pulley. Keeps the Basic ascender in correct alignment and doesn't make the pulley want to offset itself from vertical.
