I really like this mag. It is comparable to Climbing, but personally i jsut perfer this mag. I'm really not sure why. They have pretty decent gear reviews that are very similary to Climbing. The articles are also entertaining to read. Basically Climbing and Rock and Ice are almost the same mag. They do practically the same gear reviews just in different months.

This was the first harness that i have purchased. Its a great begginers harness and its really versitile. It has a good amount of padding with firm foam that is pretty breathable, not bad for hanging belays but not great either. I really like the elastic tab that holds the harness in place while you double up the buckle. Has detachable rear risers however the leg loops aren't adjustable so you can't get great fit out of them, but generally they fit fine on me. The racking system is for plastic loops that hold about 7-10 biners. It is good for sport climbing but i'm unsure about how it would be with a large rack, might get a little crowded but the biners don't bunch to much in the middle. Also lacks a haul loop. Its similar to the BD momentum harness (which i used for a little while) but i like this harness more.

Pros: Price ($30), comfort, versatility, weight, and ease of use.

Cons: No haul loop, gear loops not to big, and can't adjust leg loops.

Overall: I would definiatly recommend this product, however its hard to find right now due to Singing rocks new product line. I think barrabes still has them.

Overall they were decent. They are a good begginger shoe. These were my second pair of shoes that i bought and i was a lot happier with mad rocks hookers than the spires. I decided to buy them due to being pretty cheap ($70) and i have heard all these great things about 5.10. Overall they were very comfortable. They were pretty good at smearing but were not to great for edging. The rubber is seeming to wear pretty quickly. I have used them for about a month pretty much every other day. They have streched a little but not to bad yet. Also when you climbing for a long time the dye stains your feet.
Pros: Price, Sticky rubber, comfort.
Cons: Wears quickly, dye runs, not good at edging.

Overall i would recommend this product.
