It is a great helmet for what it is. I like to use it for hot days, sport climbing where there is not much rock fall. Benefits: light weight, you will not even know it is on, not as hot as most helmets, seems pretty study. Drawback: Does not cover the whole head well, it never feels like you have it adjusted to the right size, But after 10 minutes you forgt it is on. Hard to get a headlamp on it. Also it seems to wear fast with dents and cracks. I love to use it but only when the above factor are right.

Same product as BD Stoppers but the wires are not as stiff on some sizes. If you want the best then BD. Now with that being said if you want the best value of the two then these are the ticket.. They are a quality product at a good price..

The Picture is of the Calidris, with two waist buckles and drop leg loops. Great harness.. Petzl does a great job with quality and it show with the craftmanship of this harness. The only problem I have seen is that Trad climbers might want more or larger gear loops and be careful of the size, they run a little large.. I have had mine for all most two year and have use it in all types of climbing. I will buy another one..

You can't say enough about this pack. I have had mine for six year. since then I have bought six packs over 4000 cu inches and the pack I always go back to is the Terraplane. It really carries the heavy loads well and is super comfortable. I love the two outside zipper pockets easy to organize well. The craftmanship is unbeatable. I use it from overnighter to multiday trips. I really push it's size on winter multiday trip. I do carry a lot of stuff and with the over size winter gear I can fill it up. I don't have any thing bad to say about it, well, maybe the price. But you do get what you pay for.

I have an older model, maybe 8 years old. It started falling apart on the first trip to Mexico. Seams were ripping out in several places. It does not carry loads well and is pretty uncomfortable. The shoulder straps fell apart the waist belt it a joke. I can not believe I paid $130. 8 years ago for this sh!t pack. I can't speak of the new design, but I will never buy Mountainsmith products again.
