Wonderful Harness! 5 out of 5 stars

Review by: secander, 2011-05-19

Simple, easy to put on, comfortable, and light. I use this harness for everything: alpine multi-pitch, sport climbing, gym climbing, belaying newbies who want to spend 30 minutes trying something that's too hard for them. It works great for it all! The only drawback is the price, but if you can get it for a discount, it's totally worth it!

Not a great shoe 3 out of 5 stars

For the record, I normally climb in my La Sportiva Miuras. I picked up a pair of these for a good discount as a backup shoe. Compared to the Miura, these shoes are quite painful. Furthermore, the rubber isn't very good and makes smearing difficult. Even edging is tough compared to the less-stiff Miuras. Though not a terrible shoe, I wouldn't buy them again.

Amazing Shoe 5 out of 5 stars

Review by: secander, 2011-05-07

Probably my favorite shoe ever! Fits wonderfully and is aggressive enough for difficult bouldering. Despite this, it is so comfortable that I have worn it all day long while climbing 15 pitch alpine routes.

Some Notes On Sizing:

These shoes stretch a lot, but after you break them in, they fit like a glove! Here are some notes on my sizing:

Street Shoe: 8/8.5
Miura: 7.5 (40 euro) - feels big after break in.
Mythos: 6.5 (39 euro) - feels big after break in.
Five Ten Quantum: 8.5 - feels small!

Wonderful Shoe! 5 out of 5 stars

My first real climbing shoe. Really comfortable! Now I use it for trad. The main problem is that bad technique will burn it out very quickly. I blew out the toe in three months.

Notes on sizing:
This shoes is sized very small, you will need to downsize to get a decent fit. Also, the shoe stretches quite a bit.

Mythos: 6.5 (39 euro) - feels snug after break in.
Miura: 7.5 (40 euro) - feels snug after break in.
Quantum: 8.5 - feels very very tight
5.10 Team: 9 - feels tight
