Beautifully constructed, strong, inexpensive. These units place easily and stay put thanks to their long sling, free floating axle and higher spring rating. There really is no stress anywhere on these cams, everything fits and sits nicely, all alignments are stress free. Good design.

The cam parts are shared with Tech Friends. The stem and trigger are special to the 4CU.

I have a full rack of these and would recommend them to anyone.

These are very popular, not sure why. I'd rather have 6 lighter cams than 4 heavy camalots. The range does nothing for me, sure it's easier to get the right size first time but usually, with use, this is possible with every cam. The quality of these units is questionable, not sure if they're made in the US or somewhere else, but they lack the manufacturing sophistication/quality of the WC/DMM models (DMM are masters of drop-forging aluminum). I have four of these units in my closet with broken trigger wires, I flat out refuse to pay for the trigger kits, if the kits were free, maybe I'd resurrect them, otherwise, rest in pieces, Camalots.

Technical Friends are the benchmark, not Camalots.
