The Porta-cord is just OK at whatever it is you are trying to accomplish with it. As a rope bag it will hold, protect and make it slightly easier to carry your rope that's. That is about all it's good for.
As a day pack it is too small and does not offer enough support to carry more than a 1/2 mile comfortably. You may be able to squeeze a harness and a pair of shoes along with your 60m rope but not much more.
As a rope bag it has good access and is easy to load, but the rope tarp is very small (3'x3') hardly worth mentioning.
If you are just looking for a fancy rope bag, get the Rope Ranger. If you are looking for a good crag pack get the BD Boa Pack.
