Pontas fits great 5 out of 5 stars

Review by: w_weezer, 2007-02-28

the little bit above says that the sizing is off by a whole size compared to the other evolv shoes, but i got mine today, and the size is the same.
i wear an 8 in evolv's. I have the rave's, which fit good an snug, and the Evo's which are snug with my toes just bent. The Pontas fit exactly as the Evo's, only slightly tighter, due i believe to the heel being a little more agressive, but not much tighter. an 8 was just the right size. So, order them in the same size you wear your other evolv's in. (though i don't have any of the down turned evolv shoes, so i don't know about the sizing of those) hope this might help.

Amazing Shoe!!! 5 out of 5 stars

Great shoe. i was fortunate enough to find another pair the other month. these puppies are awsome, flexable like a slipper, but the fish hook midsole makes them edge great too. VERY comfortable shoes, and i love the color. Yeah, so a great slipper, that edges better than any other slipper out there

good shoe. Not a fan of the heel, but who is? they edge great, pretty uncomfortable when you first get them, but so are most five ten shoes.

Mad Pad 5 out of 5 stars

Review by: w_weezer, 2006-12-23

so, ive had this pad for nearly two years now. And from the start ive tried to beat the hell out of it, At alot of the places i climb, you have to hick down to the climbs from up above, well, we usually just thorw the pad over the cliff, and after tons of thirty foot falls, it only has a coupl einch long tears, not bad. It has all the padding you'd need, all that crap you hear about hurting your ankle from landing on the seam is jusat that, Crap. now, i wouldn't want to land half on the edge of the pad as you could roll and ankle, but that could happen on any pad. It is a bit slicker than my dropzone, but alot cushier, and i like that. i hope to get another one in the near future, velcro 'em together and have a huge pad!!!
