Tressel

Tressel

Those not blessed with the presence of rocks nearby have taken to the streets in search of human creations upon which to feed their hunger. Skyscrapers, freeway overpasses, and municipal buildings all lead second lives as virtual El Caps, Columbia Boulders, and Endless Walls for those with the vision. Visit High Exposures for more, or click here for more of my buildering photos on rc.com.

PS - did the climber top out or downclimb?

I'd actually interested to hear more about the set up for this, not because I want to do anything like this (there's enough good rock nearby), but simply because it looks like you used a bit of lighting to pull this off. So how did this not attract attention?

This tressel runs parallel to a road bridge that is a popular place to take photos of the Tampa skyline. I had 3 strobes set up on the bridge, but to the average passerby I'm sure I just looked like another tourist taking photos.

Nice photo. I like the way you tagged it on the trestle too. Looks like graffiti.

I like the free-solo aspect. Adds to the "danger" of the image.
