Gordy making what the guide book calls the crux move of the route... it's not. The 3 of us agreed it felt like a 5.8+, maybe 5.9 move with good protection.

on a route rated 5.9. Sorta sounds crux like. The moves on P2 only feel harder if you're not used to that kind of climbing.

i think i saw 5.10a in the guide book i was carrying, could be mistaken though. P2 was very fun, absolutely love that kind of climbing... kinda wish there could have been more of it throughout the route.

this thing actually got bumped to .10b by supertopo, but it's one move on the 4th pitch that feels miles easier than the 2nd pitch slick corner. Lots of old school 9+ on this classic.
