When I got my first #4 Camalot the first thing I did was go to Breakfast of Champs and led it onsight. I used my trusty Spider Mitts though, not tape.

yes, nice pic. Breakfast of Champions at JT also takes a #4 camalot, but the "old school" are black and have two stems.
you're right, the more "old school" version would be the U-stem, which I've only seen a few of in my day. I suppose I just wrote old school to avoid people confusing it with the current #5 which is also purple.
