doesn't look like there are too many holds...is that a skylight?
yeah, there's a skylight, three big 250w cans and one spot on the floor to balance the shadows. we are hosting a comp on october 6th, so i couldn't post a picture of the routes for the comp. there's lots of climbing on the walls now though!
i've never liked indoor pictures but there is such a soothing feel to this picture and yet it displays the mad obsession of training to send the project. artful.
That would be a sick dyno! Seriously, I like all the angles and lighting. I'll remember to check out the place the next time I'm down there.
is that a climb-it hold
Matt, I hear there is a skippie clip on the Zone, Your gonna have to focus just like this photo to send.
omg, thats a really spectacular photo. and thats some bouldering cave :D
This photo is fucking amazing!!!!
The holes on the back panel look like stars. Awesome photo.
hmm... idol worship?
original
I'm sure it looks something like this when I talk to holds... I know I've sat there and said "baby, why won't you just hold me? Why do you keep throwing me off? What do I have to do to make this work?"
That's what she said!
how about an after shot with some holds on the wall?
very artsy! I like it!
second best indoor pic I've seen (the other one, BW, I've forgotten who took it, but it's here on the site as well).
Now that looks hard.
praise allah
Good use of window light, 3 elements nice and simple makes some of the best photos.
I love how the T-nuts in the background are twinkling. This is a really serene picture overall.
there is something almost spiritual about this photo. really nice lines and use of light.
fantastic light!
two thumbs up for the picture!!
I'm repeatedly reminded of what a good pic this is.
Now retake this photo again with the lights off, position one flash directly above head and pool light on the subject. Then put lights behind the panels so the holes light up. That would get you a five star rating ;)
let the walls speak to you!
Matt, I'll bow down to that!!!
