I could be mistaken but I think the name of the route is Strike a Scowl. I have never been to NRG but there are photos of a route called Strike a Scowl at that location posted on this site. I am guessing its the same route and the pic title is just that, the route name.

IMHO if it was a guy or a girl that photo with the river and the hills in the background would rate pretty highly. Makes me want to raft in, camp, climb, and raft out! That would be (in Peter Griffen voice) FREAKIN SWEET!

5 out of 5 stars Now that is a #%#!! shot of the day!!! Natural splendor is why we climb, not to see some other guy pulling a crux! More like this please! Heck just leave this one up permanently.

If its not to much to ask, could I get camera model, fstop, exp, iso, etc?

Its pine tree pollen. Happens to lakes in the Sierra Nevadas in spring as well. Tahoe can get miles of big yellow streaks and a foamy crust of yellow gunk around the shoreline in heavy pollen seasons. I don't think its ok to drink ether, doesnt poisen the water but you don't want a mouthfull of that stuff.

Nice pic

This is Santa Barbara California, and to be honest that little bit of graffiti aint bad compared to the amount of broken glass and major graffiti in that area due to its being a local drinking spot as well. About 25 feet straight up is the 'lizards mouth', a natural cave at the top of a big roof. The rock is good but not as hard as Castle Rock sandstone. There is alot of sandstone on West Camino Cielo, this spot is close to the road and ultra well known by the local underage drinking crowd. Go farther and be happier :o)

Another question, is the patch of green in the lower right PS'd in or real? It balances the green on the upper left so well and looks like it maybe possible was cloned from the bush. Awsome image, thank you for providing my new desktop.

Highest contrast is the chalk and fingers, then his left cheak. the diagonal composition of his body and the matts points right at the high contrast area. the contrast areas follow the same line in reverse (chalk and fingers, face, value change between matts and then finaly the ground). This is simply amazing composition to happen randomly, did you plan it all out or do you tend to just naturaly find good composition?

A+
