Yes, but the rings are fixed to the biners. Originally the ring goes also through a plate, which we had to grind of. That hurts. But the biner-ring-plate combination was on sale and therefore cheaper than the biner alone - don't ask..
Easy dude. Yes there are those of us spending our hard earned bucks for the safety of others.
The new bolts are stainless glue-ins, the old bolts were home-made and the glue felt somewhat loose. The old rusty links have been replaced long - they were also expensive and UIAA-rated but only plated steel. We are living in the tropics here, stainless steel is mandatory.
It is granite, but relatively soft. Actually it does not make very good granite gravel. Perfectly solid for climbing though.
Batman Wall is about 50m, the climbs 15-25m.
Lime stone but with a smooth surface and lots of features (pockets, slopers, tufas).
