Oh my, foot behind the rope... luckily I didn't die! The rock seemed like par for sedona, maybe slightly poor. Mark and I both experienced crumbling foot holds, but it had rained somewhat recently (2 days) so that may have played a role.

First thoughts were that his face looks like king leonidus in 300. Crush that problem! aarrrggghhhh

That is so beautiful. I'm extremely jealous.

No webbing for a swami? Never done it, but if I forgot my harness I'd make a seat harness with a double length sling and back that up with a webbing swami.

I think the GF would actually have to be able to climb. Seems to me that would be a better name for queen vic. You should take the wife on it and see what she thinks.

Yeah, but from the topo it looks like if you traverse left from where you placed the first piece on the third pitch there are a couple options around the corner. If I ever do the climb again, which I can see happening (want to lead the first pitch), I'll check out that option. Wish we'd had the topo with us...

I wish I could climb as hard as you in your chaco's... Just need some bleach to dump into that crack, clear that moss right up!

It's not bad. My right hand is on the ledge with the shrub so there wouldn't be much pendulum action. The photo does make the ledge look further down than it is. If it were lower that would be a nasty fall.

Why aren't those pieces equalized? I like how the greens and yellow came in.

4 out of 5 stars When I saw the ring I was sad... And is she on TR or just have pro above her (cuts down on the scary factor either way imo). Anyways, still like the photo.
