Yeah, you could easily tell that the filter was a red+pol. Almost looks like an IR pic with the dark sky(-the white trees). Nice Pic! What type of film did you use?

View this Photo
Nice photo, but how does it relate to rock climbing?

View this Photo
A bit overexposed, but good composition

View this Photo
perfect exposure... was it luck or expierence?

View this Photo
It looks good the way it is. Your exposure is just fine. The darkness makes you focus on the subject and this is a good thing.

View this Photo
Next time loose the moon... your eye goes right to it which distracts the viewer from the rest of the picture. Nice composition reguardless.

View this Photo
What kind of camera/film were you using??

View this Photo
Great use of depth of field.

View this Photo
Nice pic, but it lacks a main subject. Your eye just goes all over the place looking for something that is not there. Good exposure and good picture, but it could be better. To make this picture better make your partner hike over to the ridge on the right and have him looking to the left.

4 out of 5 stars Nice colors! I like how the bottom is the frame is dark causing a focus on the subjects. Good pic!

View this Photo
I love slab... and dislike cracks... is there something wrong with me?? Nice pic btw!

View this Photo
Where are your tele's?

View this Photo
Where exactly is this climb... I want directions!

View this Photo
the moon killed it! Next time loose the moon; it takes your eyes off the waterfall.

View this Photo
So why are you not climbing on it?

View this Photo
1 out of 5 stars Does this guy get 10's no matter what he posts? Come on fella's its a couple of s*** bolts. If ya like this sort of thing go to the Gendarme @ Seneca rocks... that collection kills this one.

View this Photo
Actually, im thinking about it; however, in this situation I don't think doubles would have helped much.

View this Photo
4 out of 5 stars Nice moves... don't bother yourself with what these loosers say about you... b/c you have something that they don't have (skill).

tuskarora sp? sandstone

View this Photo
Looks like that shot was taken in 1947 lol... very interesting.

View this Photo
Um, where are your skis?

View this Photo
I am going to say the guy on the right b/c the light looks to be mid afternoonish and if it were the left climber climbing that cave feature would be illuminated.

View this Photo
unless it's a plane...

View this Photo
Might want to keep the rope away from your crampons...

View this Photo
Is there any trad on the top of whitetop?

View this Photo
that bug must be friggin' huge

View this Photo
It's never too cloudy to climb!

View this Photo
I'm sorry to butt in, but get off his a** squirrel...

View this Photo
nice pic lil buddy, keep em' comin

View this Photo
if she's leading, then why is the rope tight? Whats the belayer trying to do... pull her off the rock?

View this Photo
If you fall steer clear of that busted treestump at the base... kudos to you on that lead btw!

View this Photo
What IS up with that sling?

View this Photo
4 out of 5 stars Very cool pic!

View this Photo
I beleive its tuscarora sandstone if im not mistaken.

View this Photo
Those same draws were there the last time I climbed there over a year ago lol.

View this Photo
Thats real smart

View this Photo
That rock looks awesome!

View this Photo
What is that green field in the backround?

View this Photo
Why is there a bolt?

View this Photo
I like the shot, but I don't like the moon... it gets your attention away from the real goal of the composition.

View this Photo
4 out of 5 stars Nice shot... just for cureocity; what happens if you fall off the side of your pad. It looks like that would hurt

View this Photo
Cool pic... ive never seen this part of ship...

View this Photo
5 out of 5 stars Very Hot... can we get a backround version?

View this Photo
That is the most awkward looking climb I have ever seen... nice job!

View this Photo
looks like somebody needs to learn how to use their feet (;

View this Photo
Aid bolt? What kind of a route is that?

View this Photo
I don't think he's soloing hippie_dreams, but that is an awefully thin rope...

View this Photo
What the heck is the person in the photo doing?

View this Photo
not a fan of the backround...

View this Photo
What's the point...

View this Photo
I am not a fan of the leaves... this is def a staged photo; next time make it less obvious.

View this Photo
4 out of 5 stars We have some rock like that around here and I hate it! Its very brittle blocky stuff that likes to fracture and leave very flat holdless areas. Btw. nice photo!

View this Photo
4 out of 5 stars I like it... i am glad to see the lac of staged leaves in this photo.

View this Photo
very nice

View this Photo
Great pic... the subj. is pretty cute too (;

View this Photo
Foreground is too dark... kind of distracting & there is no real subject. Pretty mountains though.

View this Photo
5 out of 5 stars great photo.

View this Photo
The pic could loose the plane... what do planes have to do with climbing?

View this Photo
Cool pic, but I would watch the rope around the foot; it might be bad if the climber fell.

View this Photo
Its a little on the dark side there, but it still is a phat pic.

View this Photo
5 out of 5 stars Now thats perfection minus the lower right hand corner... but its not your fault that the sun was there lol... next time guard the lens with your hand or a lens hood. But I like!!!

View this Photo
cool shot; cool climb, overall nice job!

View this Photo
Great pic!

View this Photo
4 out of 5 stars Nice

View this Photo
I'm not a fan of the tree on the right, but that sure is a stunning view.

5 out of 5 stars WOW!

The orig. is a lot better than this scan, but you get the idea.

View this Photo
crazy floridians!

View this Photo
I love how somebody slung the entire spire for the last piece of pro LOL! Btw. great pic... can't even tell that that was more than one shot stitched together.

View this Photo
4 out of 5 stars Nice shot... keep em' comin!

View this Photo
Yea, it also is a bolted line I believe. It tends to ice up pretty good in the winter making things a little interesting.

View this Photo
4 out of 5 stars You're just jelous b/c you cant climb it and she can.

View this Photo
Great Pic

View this Photo
3 out of 5 stars Loose the Moon!!!

View this Photo
4 out of 5 stars W/o all of the ground clutter the pic would be really boring. Nice shot... looks like a tough route.

View this Photo
WTF kind of 5.11a is that?

View this Photo
Thats some cool lookin' rock there... not to mention an attractive climber as the subject. Where was the photo taken?

View this Photo
I'll be willing to bet that he's just flagging his foot towards the pad b/c if you look at it closely there are no creases from his foot making contact with the pad. Nice photo.

View this Photo
I kind of like it... a little different, but it definetly puts the suject in the spotlight. It also reminds me of SW Va where I began to climb.

View this Photo
Shift lenses sure are cool... nice photo, but it still looks doctored up to me. Ps. that climb looks hard.

View this Photo
I like the composition, but I don't like the blurry spot to the left of the crash pads.

View this Photo
Nice watch! (good pic too)!

View this Photo
That looks hard for a v2...looks fun nonetheless!

View this Photo
1 out of 5 stars Boring... nice try tho.

View this Photo
I agree... I love that song.

View this Photo
No helmet? Brave man.

View this Photo
Is that a critter in that crack?

View this Photo
Those leafs are annoying.

View this Photo
Cool photo... loose the title.

View this Photo
Nice shot, but I think it would be better if you didn't photoshop it.

View this Photo
He climbed the easiest way to get his butt up before he froze.

View this Photo
I love it!!!

5 out of 5 stars C4f, thanks for the comments... I agree the bolts do look like they are placed pretty close together. The reason for this is that this crag is kind of unique in itself. The bolt next to Sean's foot is is the first clip. Below that there is a rock ledge. Below the ledge is about a hundred foot drop. If the climber were to fall while making a clip here, they could easily deck on the ledge. The bolts are also even closer on the route to the left because it's a .14.

5 out of 5 stars P.S. viewing the original gives you a much better level of detail. I think RC should up their photo submission requirements. My photos are usually sharp out of the camera, but when I upload them here compressed they look like hell.

View this Photo
The last ten feet of that route is a beast!

View this Photo
Nice shot... it looks like the HDR worked well.

View this Photo
Nice shot... may want to add some sharpening to increase the level of detail. I think it would do wonders to this pic.

View this Photo
5 out of 5 stars I'm glad you guys like it... if anyone wants a hi res version for printing, let me know...

View this Photo
5 out of 5 stars Yea, you're right Luke. We got on Slammer after this photo was taken and I must have gotten them confused. I realized this after it was entered, but what's done is done.

View this Photo
Thanks for the comment and more importantly for the route. I liked it and thought that it was well done.

View this Photo
Ouch, so that's what flailing looks like.

View this Photo
It's actually more saturated in real life. The colors appear more dull because the light that day was flat because of the overcast clouds.

View this Photo
I would, but the route is unknown...
