nice pic- i love the hazy look of the city behind you. That's totally the feeling of separation (from the urban environment) you feel from the city when climbing there!!! good job!
it is definitely not lunging ledges (LL is on the river-facing wall of the romeos ladder area) it is romeo's ladder and it is a Fun climb!
you may not get many votes with a description like that- or constructive comments either =)
oh, and i had to tape two photos together and then scan em to get a pic of the whole thing- so thats why the pic looks a little funky
i read flying dutchman's comment as sarcasm. great picture! great place.
cheat stones on a sit start- i'm glad honesty made an appearance in the picture =) i'm being serious!
shirtless in december- i KNEW maryland was a southern state!!!!
nice shot! (off topic- you can camp 10 min south from franklin at Thorn Spring Park)
photo framing is decieving.. the trees are verticle not the rock ;) - great climb though! good job!
nice shot- do you know what the route is directly to the left of this?
strong colors- great timing the rack looks amazing!
wondeful and interesting perspective for the shot! How'd you do it?
what was this sign before the permanant marker-makeover?
very attentive spotter! ;)
keyhole crack right V0 i beleive
yeah good thing you got the pads there- definitely a ankly busting landing!
that is a sweet looking line. and aptly named. disposable cameras can defi9ntiely get the job done.
nice socks ;)
sounds like an adventure! great photos!
thats some pretty rock!
pretty rope- nice photo!
yes- the pic is totally backwards. flip it left-right.
thats definitely below the crux on the route- the only thing he's pulled through is the start move.
you're kidding right lizzard? that boulder is teensy!
nice problem- you have a great facial expression teetering between being totally in control and totally out of control!~
looks like a nice long pitch- good pic
why does the right sight look underdeveloped?
hehehe- looking at the difference in apparel between the climber and spotter. That problem must be V10 to keep him warm enough in down jacket weather!!
hahahaha... aside from the comedy of commentary i like the pics color and the climbers expression
hehe sell it to S7!!! nice pics!
looks like a big throw- nice send!
i think the dude in the pic is in college, and i think he hasn't climbed at all yet this day. I think this cuz i'm a college student and i know what we look like when we party and then try to climb early the next morning.
that rock looks soooo tasty! mmmmmmm bassalt!
fantastic picture of a great route!!!
great shot, but sadly the watch is very very distracting
good pic, the angle the camera was held on actually makes the climb look not as steep- interesting
this is a rad pic- thanks for posting.
that move sounds hella fun- sadly i'll need to get way stronger before i'm ready to enter the matrix =(
great composition- !!!!
cool shot- fun to see this side of things!!!
certainly one of marylands most classic climbs too!
thats a railroad tie down there, put there to stop the erosion going on
yeah man- keep rocking
either thats one huge climber or one tiny boulder!
Great pic, a pity her face is in shadow
sweet- nice to have a great new aid photo!
what do you mean dyno? thats a crack!!!!
werd- it looks very washed out/overexposed which is how my eyes felt at noon in red rocks =)
i second superfox
i like it! an idea would be allowing the slings and carabiner to hang down.
the description is as good as the photo! =) great job on both
its like an easter basket of gear!
is that poop?
i'm lichen it!
kinda busy with all the different textures going on, but i do like the action and aggression of the shot
sweet looking line, and a nice reach there! good pic
dig the tan (or lack there of)
mmmmmmmm newtons - wish i still had mine!
dude, how long was the route? you have more draws than a climbing shop
madrive - you have it the wrong way around. You are saying the SAHARA reminds you of the sandbox
What is there, like 1 bolt before the chains?
cool framing with the big hat and tiny belayer =)
what is on his feet?
sew it up man!
third pitch of what route?
the route is actually called aloha
i like this pic a lot. I would have liked the framing to include all of the right hand though
interesting photo, looks posed. but i like the composition. wish his right hand and boulder wasn't fuzzy. 8
don't know what these droolers are seeing, the only thing i can say for certain is that your sister is blurry
way to make life difficult
proudly representing the farmer's tan, good to see =)
dude you got it! send!
what does the pad say? and why?
great angle and composition, but seeing the climbers face would make it much better
one of you looks pretty much naked.
awesome colors, love the blue and brown similarities of climber and the rock.
that huge ledge/rest in the middle makes it far from perfect imho... but still a great route!!!!
kalcario - are you saying this is a 5.11 offwidth full of jugs? thats sounds like an oxymoron to me.
rope or no-rope?
definitely been done, madriver has pics up of it.
mmmmmmm shiny gear
fun shot - way more interesting than just the back of a climber looking up.
beautiful crisp colors on the pic. nice send. sew it up if you want to ;) after all is your arse not theirs
beautiful. simple. i love the sky.
the next move is a fist jam right?
looks like a great place to train. nice photo- captures the dynamic energy of the move.
how high off of the ground is he?
sweet - nice sequence job
is there no sunshine there? those are some pastey white boys!
as in silver spring md?
theres no place like home- theres no place like home.
very fine route- did you tr the hard line directly under the anchors?
awesome- nice job being tough and not letting the weather get you down!
i love old rag
good photo- i love that route
high rockfall area and no helmets? boo
this photo makes franklin look like the jungle, thats awesome
nice foothold ;)
the route you're on is Castaways 5.8
nice pic! looks like an awesome climb.
beautiful picture, tells a nice story
bert's bees dude
the description really helps the photo succeed! nice job all over. just wish that lower right wasn't so washed out. 9
what a day! to a northerner, the rocks look very gunks-esque
what a gorgeous day to be on gorgeous rock!
i was born a month after this photo was taken
thats a great angle on that problem! nice job
sweet climb, and 5.6 by the way, despite the slippery well worn holds.
what a friggin funky route!
TR only you say? ...
his legs look deformed. I like the photo. good light and exposure.
thats effin amazing!
major distortion is cool in typical backgrounds, but it can be very distracting from your subject (as is the case here)
thats a sweet crack- care to go at it without the aiders?
nice job, cool looking rock.
jorg never a dissappointment =)
arm buster - good
butt shots - BAD
did you say laps?!?!?!
great little route. probably the most popular route at skyline
route looks like a real adventure!
nice shot! that rock is inspiring!
does he continue to the anchor at right in the pic, or up somewhere else?
i saw a pic of this route in a climbing mag years back, this angle gives the route a way more aggressive feel. great shot!
i see nipple!
gorgeous scene!!! too bad the spotter lost his head!
i did that problem a few years back. its in the 4/5 range i believe- the rock is so grippy it won't let go of your fingers- one of the best in alberton! nice send!
its amazing that the icicles form leaning to the side like that. what a crazy steep route ;)
gorgeous angle and shot! 10!
"that is officially the FUNNIEST thing i've heard all Year" -- rockkid55 --> you must live in a very unfunny world. oh, and i like the photo, and everyone knows homie-Gs would have color-coordinated a lot better. the dude's a baggy climber.
that is sick!!!
this photo makes me want to go out and take photos- aweosme
that looks awesome! time to check orbitz =)
picturesque- are all the routes so well positioned?!
saw this on the front page again. just a beautiful moment. good shot!
sweet- nice job tim! east coast misses you. but the feeling may not be mutual...
beautiful photo. great lighting and angle!
that is amazing. however i am slightly disappointed that it is tape and not spray paint. c'mon i thought tradsters were hardcore?!?!
nice pad positioning
nice pad positioning
love this shot- would having the whole caribeaner in the frame improve the shot/composition?
more gore! more gore!
cool looking rock- nice shot
this crack looks very different from the other creek picks i've seen. how is it in there? is it as flaring as it looks?
5.8? it only feels that way cuz you're a beast!!!
i love the fisheye, love the horizon in top left, love the veritgo - don't sacrifice the artistry of the photograph by changing it
nice shoot- i like the luminous rock.
cool scene - good shot
great colors. makes me want to buy colorful clothes to climb in =)
from the look of that bird - i don't think he likes having his picture taken :0
beautiful photo - i especially like the climber's dangling leg
looks beautiful- if you're gonna be TRing, this looks like a sweet place to be.
isn't that cck direct?
thats a crazy looking left hand
i love old rag
the route with those three holds is called Crystal Whipped. swimming with the karp is the considerably easier line of holds to the right of the climber in the photo
wrong route. this is the 5.5 corner on the right/main wall
RIP spring 2006
right in the middle of the move! good shot!
nice shot- route loks great!
looks like a good time and a good route!
i used to work there and i would change the air filter every two hours, rather than just once a day- but sadly it still wasn't enough.
falcon guide in the background = minus style points
let me add that i sincerely approve of the vulgarian ethic =)
i trust that all made it home with you- no one wants to booty that gear...
looks a little windy- with all your ropes blowing around like that
it looks like the photog beat you to the FA! ;)
rock looks good! any clue what routes you've done?
j_ung... it looks like a comp
<sarc> nice daisy </sarc>
you could glue maccaroni on to it and then some glitter
this is in the wrong section....
great shot- i like that the top of the boulder was included in the frame - there's more of a story to the photo
is that the leader or the second climbing?
no worries - i like the composition...
that is the wall of wonder
if your footwork is good enough, the whole route is a no hands rest. and it doesn't stop at the 4th bolt.
rack glam shot!
whats that first piece? slung horn?
hope he got some pro in!
do you use the telephone pole as your rap station?
thats the crown royal pose
beautiful looking line!!!!
great light and color - as said ^ ! this picture really POPS!
it looks most serene =)
zomygod! looks sweet!
