so yes, if yo-yo-ing is the term... this was 4 months after i first started climbing and i was just learning to lead at this point. it was funny 'cause my ex was filming me climb and his buddy whispered "buuuurn, keith" as i clipped into the anchors. :) good times.

@stephen - he's belaying me off a boulder. and @drivel - i had to put the rope into the anchors and clean it. my ex led it up to the last bolt and couldn't finish the technical ending of the climb.
i was, however, pulled up a little over the roof.
thanks mark :)

I'm not sure of the name of the climb. We were with a guy who has been climbing for half his life and knew the area like the back of his hand. His rating felt spot-on to me because I was top-roping 10's and easy 11's at the time, and I could do all the moves except pulling over the roofs. If you hike up the short, very steep trail from the front entrance, this climb was more or less in the middle of the area that's actually open to climbing. It was 6 or 7 bolts to the achors, and had two roofs, the first of which was pretty daunting. You have to traverse out left about 10 feet from the last bolt over some really crimpy stuff to get to the the anchors, which is the part I did on lead.

haha!! everyone comments on that! on this climb, not really a ledge good enough for a water break.
i did, however, have a couple of water "take!"s. :)
