5 out of 5 stars Thanks it was a really stellar route, it's too short though...

are u slung to that rock???!!! It looks not solid at all!!!

View this Photo
5 out of 5 stars thanks pyrosis, your right, the route is freakin steep so it never gets rained on, and being as popular as it is, the chalk will build quickly. If people wanna whine about the chalk why don't they power wash it off routes, and not climb with it!!!

yea a guidebook might be a good idea in your case, thats "strait...", not bugging out, bugging out is on the right side of the chimney, just right of boys in the hood. Nice try man! You might end up getting on Shock and Awe, but think you were climbing "cinammin slab"

You make a good point

Good job Ryan. Best route on Wall of Confusion

Probably the main crux of the route. UP above is mainly technical with big moves.

Good job Ryan

5 out of 5 stars Good Job. That is one of the many fun moderate climbs at Smith Rock. I like how the vegetation is green as it is brown most of the year. Also gives a good view of the main climbing areas on the front side.

No its not gyp board. They are custom built Everlast panels. The big weird looking features are massive screw on holds.

View this Photo
5 out of 5 stars Thanks. Its a massive cross over with the right hand to a big hold, with the fett on tiny little bulges.

I would imagine that you put a piece of cord through that little hole, and then clip the carabiner into that.

That thing is pretty big!

Well, thanks Magnus.

View this Photo
5 out of 5 stars Nah I'm good. I was drilling a bolt a little below my foot level in this picture hanging off about a 1/4 inch edge, almost turning my body 90 degrees putting a bolt in. What a side ache that gave me.

5 out of 5 stars Bustloose,

I was not quite tall enough to do the move from the jug left of the bolt, to the big fin hold out right. I had to do some hard moves on intermediates to get to that fin hold.
